This April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. We work to recognize and drive awareness for child abuse and neglect all year long, but we want to shine a special spotlight to help educate others about it this month.

One of the most important ways to support children and families is to provide support and education before they reach a point of crisis. If they have the resources and knowledge, then families can be better prepared to handle those moments.

Centene is deeply committed to creating a model foster care system that promotes well-being and reducing the impact of abuse. That’s why we offer free and comprehensive training to everyone — our members and all foster care stakeholders, regardless of whether Centene Foster Care currently operates in your state. There is a wide range of resources available, including interactive training sessions both in-person and online.
